At almost 1,000 bags a week, Megazorb is by far our best selling bedding, and we use it ourselves for our two 15hh Arab horses, one on a concrete floor and one on rubber mats. It suits our set-up as we like to use the Megazorb compost in our garden, and it is so quick and easy to muck out. On the concrete floor we deep
litter and poo-pick daily. On the rubber mats I start off with 4-5 bags of
Megazorb, bedding the back half of the stable to a depth of about 3”-4”, and muck out daily as the horse in that stable is 30+ years and is very wet. We use 5 bags per month on the rubber mats, and 4 bags per month on the deep litter.
Some of our Megazorb customers add Miscanthus to their Megazorb as it adds bulk for larger horses and lightens up the bed, and some mix in a few woodshavings. Some
shavings users add a bag or two of Megazorb to their shavings to help absorb the wet.
However, horses, stables and people’s preferences vary so much that we thought we would also stock a selection of the most common beddings - hopefully at a very competitive price as we collect lorry loads direct from the manufacturers
using our own transport.
For delivery of bedding other than Megazorb, please speak to us. We
originally intended them to be collected only, but find we can often work them in with Megazorb deliveries.
